What is Meditation?
The art of meditation is a deep state of peace that occurs when the mind is silent and relaxed which is achieved through practice of breath work and conscious awareness. Our mind is never in the present moment. Through meditation we start influencing the minds vacillation of past and future thoughts towards the here and now.
What is Mindfulness?
The mental state of being conscious or aware of something. This is achieved by being in a relaxed state of one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings (EQ), thoughts (IQ), and bodily sensations (PQ). Mindfulness applies to awareness of self and others.
What is Emotional Intelligence?
The capacity to be aware of, in control of, and expressive of one’s emotions. The ability to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. Emotional Intelligence focuses on the ability to recognize, understand and manage our own emotions and to recognize, understand and influence the emotions of others.
